Planting the first block in 2012, Oxney has now grown to 13.5 hectares, or 54,000 vines. The vineyard is nestled on land sloping down to the river Rother amongst large oaks and 17 meters above sea level. A perfect microclimate for growing vines. Growing chardonnay, pinot noir, pinot meunier and seyval blanc the estate is planted and managed to make sparkling wines in its winery in a converted oast house in the middle of the vineyard. The vineyard is on an ancient farm mentioned in the Doomsday book – a perfect spot for informative tours and a relaxing lunch.
Opening times: Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm.
Tours: March-October every Friday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Tours and tastings 10am, tours, tastings and lunch 12pm.
